The Influence of Artificial Intelligence on Industrial Differentiation

文章运用主成分分析法,从人工智能投入和产出这个方面测算2003—2018年中国人工智能发展程度,构建熵指数(EI)对全国及东、中、西部地区的产业分化度进行了测度;通过构建计量回归模型实证分析人工智能对产业分化的影响。研究表明,全国、东部地区、中部地区人工智能发展程度对产业分化度具有显著影响,东部地区的影响尤为显著,但西部地区人工智能发展程度对产业分化度并未产生明显影响;人工智能发展水平对产业分化度的影响存在着“先抑后扬”的特征,在人工智能发展水平较低的阶段,产业分化度以递减的速率增加,此阶段支持“抑制效应”,随着人工智能发展水平的不断提高,达到某一拐点之后,产业分化度以递增的速率增加,此阶段支持“加速效应”。基于此,研究提出了相关政策建议。

In this paper,principal component analysis is used to measure the development of artificial intelligence in China from 2003 to 2018;By constructing the entropy index(EI),this paper measures the industrial differentiation degree of China and the eastern,central and western regions;Through the construction of econometric regression model,this paper empirically analyzes the impact of arti-ficial intelligence on industrial differentiation.The results show that the development degree of artificial intelligence in the whole country,central region,especially in the eastern region has a significant impact on the degree of industrial differentiation,but the development degree of artificial intelligence in the western region has no significant impact on the degree of industrial differentiation;The influence of the development level of artificial intelligence on the degree of industrial differentiation has the characteristics of"restraining first and then increasing".In the lower stage of the development level of artificial intelligence,the degree of industrial differentiation increases at a decreasing rate,which supports the"restraining effect".With the continuous improvement of the development level of artificial intelligence,after reaching a certain inflection point,the degree of industrial differentiation increases at an increasing rate,This stage supports"accel-eration effect".Based on this,the paper puts forward relevant policy suggestions.
