Site selection and scheme design of slag yard are directly related to project cost and risk.In this paper,the selection,scheme design and construction of Lujiatun residue yard of Jinhong Expressway are introduced.When it is difficult to find a suitable site for piling up and discarding residues,it is very effective to choose to discard residues in ditches and protect them by means of pre-stressed anchor cable anti-slide pile sheet wall.It can not only ensure the safety of the slag yard,but also control the construction cost.
