There is no doubt that with development of science and technology, the transformation and upgrading of construction industry is faced with new opportunities and challenges. Clearly, development of BIM technology might promote the reform of traditional construction industry. Research on BIM technology in the whole life cycle of engineering project cost control is important for putting forward scientific and reasonable suggestions so as to improve the project cost control level.
