Concealment and Awakening:Research on Kitchen Space from the Perspective of Social Gender

房屋的设计中往往隐藏着深刻的性别政治,而厨房作为家务劳动最密集的场所,是家庭性别关系得到最集中体现的空间之一。本文以社会性别为视角,对不同社会形态下的厨房空间属性进行解读,通过两种不同的厨房类型分析,探讨在社会、空间与性别之间的关系。随着社会形态的发展,女性在社会生产中的参与度不断提高,带来了性别权利意识的崛起和传统家庭空间权利分配的瓦解。

Deep gender politics often lurk in the design of houses,while the kitchen,as one of the most labor-intensive places for housework,reflects the spatial organization of social relations centrally.From the perspective of social gender,we interpret the attributes of kitchen space in different social forms.Through the analysis of two different kitchen types,this paper discusses the relationship between society,space and gender.With the development of social forms,women’s participation in social production has been increasing,which brings about the rise of feminist consciousness and the collapse of traditional power distribution in family space.
