A new type of wall filling material composed of desulfurized building gypsum and polystyrene particles is introduced.The characteristics of the new wall filling material and its advantages in light steel construction field are expounded. The paper points out that the research and development,large-scale production and extensive application market of this new building material are conducive to improving the quality of healthy ecological housing,reducing wet operations in construction,greatly improving labor productivity,saving costs,and promoting the industrialization process of housing.
