公共艺术重塑城市公共空间场所精神的实践与思考

Practice and Thinking of Public Art Remodeling the Genius Loci of Urban Public Space

当代城市公共空间建设过程中,场所精神是建构场所特色、增强场所凝聚力的必要元素。但在全球化的背景下,"经济""技术"导向的城市空间发展模式引发了空间危机,进而导致城市公共空间场所精神疏离问题。本文通过案例研究,分析公共艺术"独特性价值追求""唤醒共有情感""媒介形式灵活"等优势及特点,总结公共艺术通过传承场域文脉、挖掘场所特质、建构文化地标等重塑城市公共空间场所精神的途径,为国内城市更新中的公共空间建设提供新思路。

In the process of contemporary urban public space construction,genius loci are a necessary element for constructing site characteristics and enhancing place cohesion.However,in the context of globalization,the urban spatial development model guided by“economy”and“technology”has triggered a spatial crisis,which leads to alienation of the genius loci of urban public space.Based on the case studies,this paper analyzes the advantages and characteristics of public art’s“value pursuit of uniqueness”,“awakening shared emotions”and“flexible media forms”,and concludes ways of public art to remodel the genius loci of urban public space by inheriting the field context,digging out the site characteristics,and constructing cultural landmarks,in order to inspire new ideas for public space construction in domestic urban renewal.
