Steady Efforts toward Common Prosperity

The Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC)in 2020 called for more notable and substantial progress toward promoting common prosperity for everyone by 2035,when socialist modernization is achieved.This call set clear and specific tasks for China’s modernization and envisaged ways for China to achieve this goal in the next 15 years.These tasks will boost the Chinese people’s morale and mobilize greater efforts.In this new development stage,it is important for China to gain a thorough understanding of common prosperity at the conceptual,theoretical,and practical levels.
