中国当代文学英译概览与研究综述

中华人民共和国成立70余年来,中国当代文学走过了一段曲折的出海之路,展现了多面的中国形象。随着国内社会与国际形势的发展变化,中国当代文学英译在各个历史阶段显现出不同的特点,引发了海内外学者不同的研究兴趣。其总体的传播情况以及研究状况的系统整理尚付阙如。本文将中国当代文学英译传播历程大致分为中华人民共和国成立初的17年、"文革"期间、新时期,以及新世纪这4个历史阶段,系统全面整理了各个阶段中国当代文学的主要英译作品、译介研究,以及英语国家对中国当代文学的研究文献,总结各个时期中国当代文学在英语国家的译介特点、译介研究状况,以及英语世界对中国当代文学的研究状况。

The translation of contemporary Chinese literature has winded its way to the West for over 70 years since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,which contributed to the construction of multidimensional images of China.The features of the English translation of contemporary Chinese literature and relevant studies vary with time.However,a panoramic overview of the dissemination of contemporary Chinese literature has yet to be done.This paper attempts to outline the trending of translations of contemporary Chinese literature published in the Anglophone world in four different periods,respectively the seventeen years since the foundation of the People’s Republic of China,the“Cultural Revolution”,the twenty years since the reform and opening-up of China,and the new century,and summarize the features of the translations published during each period.Then a brief review of the studies of the dissemination of the English translations of contemporary Chinese literature and an introduction to the English researches on contemporary Chinese literature are provided.
