中巴经济走廊中的美国因素分析

Analysis of the American Factors of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor

美国对中巴经济走廊保持高度的警惕和防范,连续采取一系列举措干扰和打压走廊的建设,在舆论层面极力抹黑,行动层面反制,外交层面合纵连横等。美国的打压对中巴经济走廊产生诸多负面影响,导致南亚地区形势更加复杂,安全困境加剧,南亚地区充满新的不确定性,中巴经济走廊的诸多工程项目受到影响、工程成本增大。美国的政策目标在于服务于美国在亚洲的利益,遏制中国的崛起,有力地塑造印太战略环境。中巴两国应该对美国因素的影响有清醒的认识,采取必要的应对措施,以消除或减少其中的不利影响。

Since the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor was proposed and implemented in 2013, the United States has maintained a high degree of vigilance and precaution. Especially the Trump administration took a series of measures to interfere and pressure the progress of the corridor, including the vigorous efforts of public smearing, countermeasures and uniting with other countries to oppose. America’s pressuring of China mainly results from its fear that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor would greatly promote Sino-Pakistani relations, weaken U.S.-Pakistan relations, impact the U.S.-led international economic order, endanger U.S. interests in the Indian Ocean, and even challenge U.S. global hegemony. The goal of American policy is to serve its interests in Asia, contain China’s rise, and effectively shape the Indo-Pacific strategic environment. The pressure by the United States will inevitably produce many negative impacts on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, including more complicated situation in South Asia, intensified security dilemma, new uncertainties in South Asia, the effect of many CPEC projects and the increase of project costs. China and Pakistan should have a clear understanding of the influence of the American factors and take necessary countermeasures to eliminate or reduce the adverse effects.
