The trend of regional vocational education from expanding scale to improving quality is the demand for regional vocational education to participate in the country’s high-quality development. The high-quality development of regional vocational education should take serving the high-quality development of regional society as the core orientation, take the effective coordination and high-quality linkage of multiple subjects as the link, and take the ecological carrying capacity as the support for sustainable development. Faced with realistic challenges such as unbalanced resources, unremarkable characteristics, uncoordinated supply and demand, and unsatisfied quality, achieving the goal of high-quality development of regional vocational education and promoting the change of regional vocational education levels is necessary.
