科技考古——助力中国考古学进入黄金时代

Archaeological Science is Turning Chinese Archaeology into Its Golden Age

科技考古是应用自然科学等相关学科的方法和技术开展考古学研究。本文在对中国科技考古各个领域已经取得的主要成果进行概括的基础上,认为发展中国科技考古应该注意如下问题:科技考古要融入考古学研究之中;用区系类型的思路指导科技考古研究;进一步调整、完善科技考古的思路和方法论;加大古DNA研究的力度;开展全方位的科技考古研究;进一步强调科技考古的学科规范;加强中国科技考古与国际学术界的交流;强化科技考古人才的培养。

Archaeological science refers to archaeological research that involves the application of methods and techniques from natural sciences. The present paper reviews the major achievements that have been made in subfields of archaeological science in China. Furthermore, it draws attention to the following issues:(1) integrating archaeological science with archaeological studies;(2) carrying out archaeological science under the guidance of quxi-leixing model;(3) advancing and completing current methodology and way of thinking in archaeological science;(4) encouraging more studies on ancient DNA;(5) carrying out a full range of archaeological science research;(6) strengthening disciplinary rules and standards;(7) encouraging more communications in archaeological science research between China and foreign counties;and(8) strengthening education of archaeological science specialists.
