This paper briefly describes the characteristics of the hospital reconstruction and expansion project,in combination with the difficulties encountered by the electrical specialty in the design process of the specific project(reconstruction and expansion project of a Municipal Central Hospital),such as the impact of specification update on the reconstruction project,the reasonable selection of main engine room,the integration of new and old equipment,the connection between design and construction,net height control,etc.The ideas and methods to solve the problems are put forward.
