The differences design front-wheel drive vehicles with the rear wheel drive vehicles were introduced.Base on the front-whee drive car to develop high performance passenger car of rear-wheel drive vehicles,Kingpin parameters in the development process of design were put forward.Through the relationship between tire force and steering torque,the state of vehicle in the process of straight-line driving,turning and braking caused by different driving types and the variation trend of kingpin parameters with wheel steering angle were analyzed.Finally,through the comparative analysis of kingpin parameter design of different drive forms,the front drive model after the king pin parameters of train of thought was summed up.Without affecting other parameters,optimize the kingpin design,keep the vehicle performance consistent with the front drive,and ensure that the developed rear drive vehicle has good steering performance and driving performance.
