On January 18,CIIS held a symposium"Assessing the United States'Asia-Pacific Policy after One Year of Biden's Presidency."CIIS President Xu Bu presided over the meeting,which was attended by renowned experts and scholars including Cui Tiankai,former Vice Foreign Minister and former Ambassador to the United States and Japan;Zhang Yuyan,Academician of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences(CASS)and Director of the CASS Institute of World Economics and Politics;Ni Feng,Director the CASS Institute of American Studies;Xie Tao,Dean of the School of International Relations and Diplomacy of Beijing Foreign Studies University;and various others from Beijing-based universities and institutes.
