This paper introduced and summarized the structure characteristics of a new shredder cutter and its application in sugar factory.Taking one crushing season as a cycle,through the statistical analysis of the failure ratio,wear amount and sugarcane crushing amount of the cutting tool,the good performance of the cutting tool in actual production was expounded.At the same time,the relative production index data before and after using the cutter were compared and discussed,and the production benefit obtained by using the cutter was illustrated.
