清藏书家蔡廷相、蔡廷桢生平及藏书考

A Research on the Life and Collection Books of Qing Bibliophiles Cai Tingxiang and Cai Tingzhen

金匮蔡氏兄弟——蔡廷相、蔡廷桢是清中后期的藏书家,其藏书处“醉经轩”收藏宋元本很多,是清代中后期善本递藏的重要一环。论文详考金匮蔡氏兄弟的籍贯、行第、字号,确定蔡廷相,字孙峰,号伯卿,为兄;蔡廷桢,字慕周,号卓如,为弟。结合旁证,推测二人生卒年大致为1835—1887年。综合书目记载,辑录金匮蔡氏旧藏书,共得35种,其中宋元刻本12种,罕秘孤本至少有4种,并进一步考订其流传过程以及现藏地。

Cai brothers of Jingui:Cai Tingxiang and Cai Tingzhen were bibliophiles in the middle and late Qing dynasties.They collected a lot of books edited in Song and Yuan Dynasties for Zui Jingxuan.It was an important part of the transfer of rare books in that time.This article investigates the native place,ranking and name of the Cai brothers in detail,confirms that Cai Tingxiang,named Sun Feng or Boqing,is the elder brother;Cai Tingzhen,named Mu Zhou or Zhuoru,is the little brother,and speculates that their birth and death years are roughly 1835 and 1887.Cais’catalog of collection of the old books(totally 35 books,among them 12 Song/Yuan edtions,4 unique editions at least)and the spreading process of them are compiled and eventually it shows the current storage location.
