3D printing technology is based on the design of 3D digital model. The software layered discrete NC forming system was used to stack materials according to relevant layers by means of laser beam and electron beam. Under the great impact of 3D printing technology, the leather shoe industry has also ushered in new development opportunities, which not only provided technical support, but also provided designers with new inspiration in modeling, structure and pattern design. Accordingly, by elaborating 3D printing technology and its advantages in shoe-making, the application performance of 3D printing technology in the development of shoe-making industry was further analyzed, in order to provide more reference experiences for the design and development of other footwear or clothing.
