摘要
《诗经》自16世纪传入欧美之后,一直受到西方人的关注,其研究热情数百年来依然不减。海外汉学家在对《诗经》进行研究时常常会用到一个关键的术语,即“讽喻”(Allegory),《诗经》传统的“兴”近似于西方叙事作品中的讽喻,因此海外汉学研究者常常把讽喻与“兴”视为同一创作手法。但近年来,《诗经》是否适用于讽喻引起了学者们的极大争论,尤其是《诗经》中超出文本意义的意义化与西方的讽喻研究非常相似,所以目前越来越多的西方学者开始对《诗经》进行讽喻研究。以“西方《诗经》研究中的讽喻之辩”为题,概述了《诗经》在西方的传播,分析了《诗经》的政治隐喻以及其能否作为讽喻研究文本的重要分歧点,并对争论进行反思。
Since The Book of Songs was introduced to Europe and America in the 16th century,it has attracted the attention of westerners all the time,and its research enthusiasm has remained unabated for hundreds of years.When overseas sinologists study The Book of Songs,they often use a key term,namely Allegory.The traditional Xing in The Book of Songs is similar to the allegory in western narrative works,so overseas sinologists often regard allegory and Xing as the same creation technique.However,in recent years,whether The Book of Songs is suitable for allegory has aroused great controversy among scholars.Especially,the meaning beyond the textual meaning in The Book of Songs is very similar to the allegory study in the West,so more and more western scholars are beginning to study allegory in The Book of Songs.With the topic“Argument on allegory in the study of The Book of Songs in the West”,this paper summarizes the spread of The Book of Songs in the West,analyzes the political metaphor of The Book of Songs and the important differences on whether it can act as an allegory study text,and reflects on the argument.
