可重构智能超表面设计及其无线通信系统应用 被引量:9

摘要 可重构智能超表面(Reconfigurable Intelligent Metasurface,RIS)是一种新的人工电磁超材料,具有灵活调控电磁波的频率、幅度、相位、波形、极化和传播方向等特性。RIS构建起物理空间和信息空间的桥梁,具有灵活调控电磁波的能力和低成本、低能耗、低质量的优点,将为B5G/6G无线通信技术开辟崭新道路。RIS在提升无线通信的信号功率覆盖范围、增强通信质量和评估蜂窝网络性能扮演着至关重要的角色。针对RIS在无线通信系统中应用,围绕解决非视距下的通信盲区覆盖,阐述RIS硬件系统的工作原理与设计方法;从无源的反射器墙面到有源超表面,从可拼接的无源编码RIS反射面到现场可编程超表面,对RIS发展的历程及其通信系统中的应用进行介绍与分析;最后给出了RIS未来发展方向。 Reconfigurable intelligent metasurface(RIS)is a new artificial electromagnetic metamaterial,which has the ability to flexibly control frequency,amplitude,phase,waveform,polarization,and propagation direction of electromagnetic waves.RIS builds a bridge between physical space and information space,which not only flexibly controls electromagnetic waves but also with the advantages of low cost,low energy consumption,and low weight.It will open up a new path for B5G/6G wireless communication technology.RIS plays a significant role in improving the power coverage of wireless communication,enhancing communication quality and evaluating cel⁃lular network performance.Aiming at the application of RIS in wireless communication system,this paper expounds the working principle and design method of RIS hardware systems,focusing on solving the coverage of communication blind area under non⁃line⁃of⁃sight.From passive reflector wall to active metasurface,from splicing passive coding RIS reflector to programmable metasurface,the development of RIS and its applications in communication system are introduced and analyzed.Finally,the future development direction of RIS is pro⁃posed.
