东北虎的人工育幼研究

Study on artificial breeding of manchurian tiger

2018年5月22日凌晨,福州动物园一东北虎产下3只幼虎。鉴于母虎年纪大、体况不佳,分娩4 h内有弃仔现象,且母虎所处的临时兽舍隐蔽性差等原因,为提高幼虎存活率,遂取出进行人工育幼。在人工育幼过程中,为幼虎创造适宜的育幼环境、适宜的温湿度,严格按照操作流程进行人工育幼研究,主要记录人工育幼阶段的饲喂方法、育幼环境和疾病防治情况,为东北虎的人工育幼及其保护工作提供一些基础资料。

There has been three manchurian cubs born at Fuzhou Zoo on May 22 of 2018 in the early morning.In order to increase the opportunity for the cubs to survive,the cubs have been separated from the raw breeding environment and have been artificially bred due to the concern of the old parent tiger's physical condition,and clue of abandoning the breeding has been revealed within four hours of delivery.In the process of artificial breeding research,fit environment including appropriate temperature and humidity have been produced for the cubs.The whole process has been carried out strictly under operating procedures.The feeding methods,breeding environment,disease prevention actions and control during the artificial rearing stage have been documented,so that providing basic information for the artificial breeding and protection of the manchurian tiger.
