摘要
为了更好地促进环境质量改善,发挥金融手段对环境治理的作用,通过构建金融发展与环境污染的理论模型,说明金融发展对环境污染存在规模经济效应和技术进步效应,并通过选取2015-2018年中国大陆30个省(市,自治区)相关数据对二者之间的关系加以实证检验.发现:金融发展对环境污染具有显著的抑制作用,同时金融发展与环境污染之间存在显著的“倒U型”关系,即在金融发展初期会加大环境污染,而当金融发展到一定程度,会对环境污染起到显著的抑制作用.除此以外,技术进步、经济增长可以改善环境质量,而人口密度增大会造成环境治理压力增大.根据这些结论,本文提出相关政策建议.
In order to better promote the improvement of environmental quality,financial means play a role in environmental governance.This paper constructs a theoretical model of financial development and environmental pollution,and explains the scale economic effect and technological progress effect of financial development on environmental pollution.It also empirically tests the re⁃lationship between the two countries by selecting relevant data from 30 provinces(cities and autonomous regions)in China's Mainland for 2015~2018 years.The results show that:financial development has a significant inhibitory effect on environmental pollution,and there is a significant“inverted U”relationship between financial development and environmental pollution,that is,in the early stage of financial development,environmental pollution will be increased,and when financial development to a certain extent,it will play a significant inhibitory role on environmental pollution.In addition,technological progress and economic growth can improve environmental quality,and the increase of population density will increase the pressure of environmental governance.According to these conclusions,this paper puts forward relevant policy recommendations.
