Analysis and Discussions on System Resistance of Sulfuric Acid Plant under Different Loads of Sulfur Dioxide Compressor

本文介绍了某冶炼厂烟气制酸工艺流程、二氧化硫风机及其变频调速装置,列举了主要设备及管道和塔填料、除雾器、转化催化层的阻力计算公式,给出了二氧化硫风机不同负荷下硫酸厂系统阻力实测数据,分析了风机不同负荷下硫酸厂主要系统的阻力变化,提出有条件的硫酸厂采用变频调速二氧化硫风机的建议。

This paper introduces the off-gas-based acid making process,the sulfur dioxide compressor and its VSD device of a smelter.It provides a list of resistance calculation formula for the main equipment,pipelines,tower packing,demister and conversion catalyst bed,and gives a statistics of actually measured data on the system resistance of the sulfuric acid plant under different loads of the sulfur dioxide compressor,analyzes the resistance variations of the main systems of the sulfuric acid plant under different loads of the compressor,and puts forward its suggestion that the sulfuric acid plant may use sulfur dioxide compressor complete with VSD when conditions permit.
