Plekhanov's interpretation of aesthetics,literature and art from the perspective of genesis and historicity can be regarded as a classic example of explaining aesthetics and literature problems with Marx'and Engels'historical materialism.His interpretation also includes the interpretation of primitive national aesthetics,the emergence of literature and art and the national aesthetics of civilization,the emergence of literature and art,revealing the complexity of the relationship between utilitarian labor and non-utilitarian games,literary and artistic activities and social and economic production.Plekhanov's historical interpretation of aesthetics,literature and art,especially the historical complexity of"art for life's sake"and"art for art's sake"in the specific period of social development,illustrates the historical complexity of literature and art in the constant development and change of human society's material production and life.
