The Veterinary Public Hygiene course shoulders the responsibility of imparting veterinary public health expertise,raising students'awareness and ability to solve veterinary public health problems,and cultivating veterinary students with social responsibility and people's livelihood awareness.Therefore,it is very important to carry out the course construction and teaching reform on veterinary public health from the perspective of public health.The paper expounds a series of reforms and explorations on the curriculum in terms of teaching content,teaching methods,practice teaching,etc.to be in line with the public health situation,the social needs of the society and the need of students'ability.
