摘要
视网膜疾病是重要的致盲原因,由于视网膜位于眼后节最内层,结构精细复杂,药物到达眼后节需要克服很多障碍,选择合适的研究模型是设计和优化眼部递药系统的关键。虽然体外实验不能完全代替体内研究,但体外实验能更好地反映眼内不同屏障对药物的通透性,且可以避免活体实验带来的费用及伦理问题,通过精心设计的体外模型同样具有重要的应用价值。本文对近年来眼后节递药体外模型的研究进行综述,从而为视网膜疾病的药物研发提供借鉴及参考。
Retinal diseases are leading causes of blindness. Because the retina is located in the innermost layer of the posterior segment of the eye and has a delicate and complex structure, drugs need to overcome many barriers to reach the posterior segment of the eye. Therefore, appropriate research model is the key to design and optimize the ocular drug delivery system. Although in vitro experiment can not fully mimic in vivo conditions, it can better reflect the permeability of different ocular barriers to drugs. Moreover, in vitro experiment can avoid the cost and ethical problems caused by in vivo experiments. Well designed in vitro models also have important application value. This review gives an overview of recent progress in in vitro models to study drug delivery in the posterior segment of the eye, thus to provide information for the research of potential therapeutics for retina diseases.
