玄奘故里滑城河说所持的理由不足以立论,因为道宣所说的“缑氏故城”并非是指滑城河故城遗址,而是指引礼寨;招提寺位于府北村,而非滑城河村,如果招提寺是为玄奘而建,那么玄奘故里可能是府北村,但证据不足。真正的玄奘故里在偃师南部缑山一代是可信的,但现有的资料无法确定具体地点。

The theory that Huachenghe is Xuanzang’s hometown is not enough to be established,because the“ancient city of Gou Shi”mentioned by DaoXuan does not refer to the ruins of Huachenghe’s old city,but to Yinlizhai;ZhaoTi temple is located in Fubei village,not Huachenghe village.If ZhaoTi temple was built for Xuanzang,Xuanzang’s hometown may be Fubei village,but the evidence is insufficient.It is reliable that the real hometown of Xuan Zang was in the south of Yanshi county around Goushan mountain,but the specific location cannot be determined according to the existing data.
