Amid a volatile international environment,the annual sessions of China’s top legislature and political advisory body were convened as scheduled in early March.In roughly a week,lawmakers deliberated and approved the government work report as well as a range of other reports and legislative items.Among them was the decision on amending the Organic Law of the Local People’s Congresses and Local People’s Governments.
