Language Intelligence and Foreign Language Education in the Age of Big Data

本文在对语言智能研究发展历程从人机对话和机器翻译系统等自然语言理解与处理视角进行综述的基础上指出,语言智能研究将对外语教育产生冲击和影响,未来外语教育教学必须面对并迎接语言智能发展带来的剧变,对接语言智能研究的最新研究成果。在大数据背景下,充分利用现代技术,建立基于语言智能研究的智能化教育教学体系,是未来外语教育的必然发展趋势。

Based on a review of the development of language intelligence research from the perspectives of natural language understanding and processing such as human-computer dialogue systems and machine translation systems,this paper points out that language intelligence research has profound impact on foreign language education,which must face and greet the drastic changes brought about by the development of language intelligence.The author proposes that against the background of big data era,it is an inevitable trend for foreign language education in the future to make full use of modern technology so as to establish an intelligent foreign language education and teaching system based on language intelligence research.
