摘要
随着数学空间观念的发展以及计算机技术在建筑设计过程中的深度参与,建筑形式的设计原则正在发生巨大变化。越来越多的设计师将空间曲面作为建筑设计主题。流形是现代数学中对空间或曲面的专业称谓,以它为核心的空间观念及计算方法正在对建筑师及建筑建模软件产生重大影响。于庆成美术馆形体设计引入数学的流形(manifold)概念,试图以此向数学抽象空间致敬。文章采用曲率与计盒维数法对于庆成美术馆形体进行几何量化分析,试图通过数据展现美术馆形体设计的几何意义,及其所隐喻的数学抽象空间的特点。
With the development of mathematic and the deep participation of computer technology in the process of architectural design, the principles of architectural form is undergoing great changes. More and more designers regard curved surface as the theme of architectural design. Manifold is a professional appellation of space and curved surface in modern mathematics. The concept and calculation method of manifold which is as the core of topology are exerting great influence on architects and modeling software. YU Qingcheng Museum of Fine Arts introduced the concept of manifold in order to pay tribute to the abstract space of mathematics. In this paper, curvature and box-counting dimension are used to quantify the shape of YU Qingcheng Museum of Art. The data are both used to show the geometric meanings of the form and the characteristics of the mathematical abstract space it metaphors.
