摘要
西方语言学文献中的construction是一个早已有之的语言学术语,然而,在不同的语言学理论中,这一术语的含义却大不相同。本文首先简略梳理了结构语言学和生成语言学中这一术语的界定和含义,然后,着重讨论了认知语言学中的构式观,说明了将构式视为形-义配对体,并将其视为核心概念和研究对象的合理性,还说明了认知语言学所秉持的部分组构性观点也更为合理,更具解释力。
Construction as a linguistic term has a long history in western linguistics literature,however,it is employed and understood rather differently in different linguistic theories.On the basis of a very brief discussion of how the notion of construction is defined in Structural Linguistics and Generative Linguistics,this article has mainly discussed how the notion of construction is defined in Cognitive Linguistics.It is more plausible that construction is regarded as a form-meaning pair and taken as the main object of study in Cognitive Linguistics.The partial compositionality proposed by Cognitive Linguistics is also more reasonable and more explanatory.
