On the Cultivation of Cross-border E-commerce Talents of Business English from the Perspective of New Liberal Arts

探讨新文科视野下商务英语跨境电子商务人才培养的创新途径。分析当前人才培养存在的主要问题,提出要以新文科建设理念为引领,以能力培养为核心,立足“新体系、新课堂、新师资、新机制”4条途径,重构人才能力体系、课程教学体系和实践教学体系,推动课堂教学革命,打造“双师双能”的教学师资,优化协同育人机制,培养“英语强、商务通、电商精”的跨境电子商务应用型人才。

This paper explores the innovative approaches to cultivating cross-border e-commerce talents of business English from the perspective of new liberal arts.Based on an analysis of the existing problems in the current talent cultivation mode, it proposes that the cultivation of business English talents should be guided by the concepts of new liberal arts construction and focus on ability training.Four approaches of talent cultivation are discussed in terms of system reconstruction, classroom teaching reform, teaching staff rebuilding and educational mechanism optimization.To cultivate application-oriented cross-border e-commerce talents of business English with great proficiency in English and good skills in cross-border e-commerce, we should give top priority to the reconstruction of talent ability, curriculum teaching and practical teaching systems and promote classroom teaching reform.Furthermore, it is high time that we fostered a teaching staff with both professional and vocational qualifications and optimized the collaborative educational mechanism.
