21世纪以来加拿大华人社团对华人移民融入的作用探析

Analysis on the role of Canadian Chinese Associations in the Integration of Chinese Immigrants since the 21st Century

加拿大是华人移民的热点国家之一,在华人源源不断移入加拿大的同时,华人移民在当地的融入情况备受瞩目。其中,华人社团为促进华人融入作出了许多努力。根据移民融入四维度框架,在经济融入方面,华人社团帮助移民解决就业与职业发展过程中的各种障碍;在政治融入方面,华人社团动员华人参政议政,不断争取华人权益;在社会融入方面,华人社团为华人移民提供支持并鼓励移民主动融入;在文化融入方面,华人社团积极参加当地文化活动并努力减少针对华人的抹黑与偏见。总的来说,21世纪以来,加拿大华人社团的活动比之前更加丰富多元,并且在经济、政治、社会、文化方面都为移民融入主流社会作出贡献。

Canada is one of the popular countries for Chinese immigrants.While Chinese immigrants are moving into Canada continuously,the local integration of Chinese immigrants has attracted much attention.Among them,Chinese associations have made many efforts to promote the integration of Chinese.According to the four-dimension framework of immigrant integration,Chinese associations help immigrants solve various obstacles in the process of employment and career development in terms of economic integration,encourage Chinese to participate in politics and continuously strive for the rights and interests of Chinese in terms of political integration,provide support for Chinese immigrants and encourage immigrants to actively integrate in terms of social integration,actively participate in local cultural activities and strive to reduce smear and prejudice against Chinese in terms of culture integration.In general,since the 21st century,the activities of Chinese Canadian associations have become more diverse than before,and they have contributed to the integration of immigrants into mainstream society in economic,political,social and cultural aspects.
