In the daily operation of hydropower station,electrical overvoltage occurs from time to time.If this situation is not controlled and maintained in time,it is likely to cause damage to the internal circuit and important parts of electrical equipment,which will have a very important impact on the normal operation of the hydropower station.Therefore,in the normal operation of the hydropower station,corresponding protection work must be done to avoid the failure of the hydropower station to operate normally due to overvoltage.This paper mainly discusses the application of electrical overvoltage protection technology in hydropower station,hoping to provide experience and reference for relevant personnel.
