In order to ensure the effective development of water quality monitoring,this paper points out the problems existing in water quality monitoring,including sample collection,laboratory links,testing links,instruments and reagents,data processing,personnel professional ability,and puts forward improvement measures,i.e.to pay attention to sample collection,actively complete laboratory preparation,effectively analyze samples,strengthen data processing,and strengthen the training of water quality monitoring personnel.The development trend of water quality monitoring is prospected.It should be combined with information management technology,comprehensively analyze the data,establish an effective monitoring system,realize automatic management,improve the mobile monitoring system and emergency system,and improve the quality of water quality monitoring.
