The final awarding activities and academic seminars of the 12th Chinese Dance"Lotus Award"Classical Dance Awards do not only constitute the epitome of current developments in Chinese classical dance,but also the direction of the future development of Chinese classical dance.The contemporary development of Chinese classical dance should take the past as a mirror,reflect literature through dance,"guard the past and inspect the present".While adhering to traditional culture and historical accumulation,seeking music and dance culture that has not yet been explored,it should endeavour to establish dual thinking in terms of"historical scene"and"historical mirror".It should pay attention to the development of the current era,while adhering to a people-centred creative orientation.
