The centenary history of the Communist Party of China(CPC) is the history of a struggle to lead the people to fight poverty and to strive for the elimination of poverty and common prosperity. In the great endeavor of poverty alleviation, the CPC has gone out of a path that is consistent with the actual situation of China, established a systematically scientific and effective system of poverty alleviation with Chinese characteristics, formed a series of major theoretical views on poverty alleviation and built a great spirit of poverty alleviation. The road, theory, system and spirit of poverty alleviation with Chinese characteristics are four-dimensional organic unity. The road is the only way to eliminate absolute poverty, the system is an important guarantee, theory is the guide to action, and the spirit is the inexhaustible motive force. The four are unified in the great practice of poverty alleviation under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.
