美国大学图书馆的虚拟仿真应用实践——对美国TOP100大学图书馆VR/AR应用的调查 被引量:38

摘要 虚拟仿真技术应用是推动图书馆智能化的重要一步,美国大学图书馆应用以VR/AR为代表的虚拟仿真技术和产品已有约20年时间,积累了宝贵的经验,值得我国图书馆借鉴。文章通过网站访查、内容分析等方法对美国排名前100所大学图书馆的VR/AR技术的应用进行调查,梳理美国大学图书馆虚拟仿真技术的应用情况,挖掘典型实践案例,建议我国大学图书馆从5个方面促进虚拟仿真技术应用:提高图书馆虚拟仿真利用率、关注空间建设、推进信息资源建设、提升师生教学体验以及优化可视化参考咨询服务。 The application of virtual simulation technology is an important step to promote the development of intelligent libraries. American university libraries have applied virtual simulation technology and products represented by VR/AR for about 20 years, and have accumulated valuable experience, which is worthy of reference for Chinese libraries. Through website visit and content analysis,this paper investigates the application of VR/AR technology in the top 100 university libraries in the United States,reviews the application status of virtual simulation technology,and explores some typical cases. It proposes that university libraries in China should promote the application of virtual simulation technology from five aspects:improving the performance of library virtual simulation,developing VR-supported spaces,boosting the development of three-dimensional information resources, enhancing the learning and teaching experience for teachers and students, and optimizing visual reference services.
