On the Three Dimensions of Resolution on the Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party Over the Past Century:Theme,Substance,and Methodology

党的十九届六中全会通过的《中共中央关于党的百年奋斗重大成就和历史经验的决议》内容丰富、意义重大,可以从3个不同维度加以认识:一是以实现中华民族伟大复兴为主题回顾和总结党的历史,以对于中华民族伟大复兴的独特贡献来总结和评价党在不同历史时期创造的成就;二是以史鉴今,总结经验、远观未来,搞清楚过去为什么能够成功、弄明白未来怎样才能继续成功,构成决议的主旨、灵魂或曰核心问题意识;三是立足于大历史观,从历史长程和国际宽视野审视党的百年奋斗。

The Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party over the Past Century adopted at the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China is rich in content and of great significance,which can be understood from different dimensions.This paper analyzes its content and characteristics from three aspects.First,it reviews the history of the Party with the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation as the main theme,and summarizes the achievements of the Party in different historical periods based on its unique contributions to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Second,considering both history and future,it figures out why the Party was able to succeed in the past and how the Party can continue to succeed in the future,which reflects the resolution’s spirit or core problem consciousness.Third,based on broader perspectives of history and international vision,the Party’s endeavors over the past century are examined.
