*Of the 10 reported death cases of rabies,there were 7 reported in Feburary,the other were reported previously.†The data were extracted from the website of the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China.§Infectious diarrhea excludes cholera,dysentery,typhoid fever and paratyphoid fever.The number of cases and cause-specific deaths referred to data recorded in National Notifiable Disease Reporting System(NNDRS)in China,which includes both clinically-diagnosed cases and laboratory-confirmed cases.
