The Unity of the CPC’s Original Aspiration, Mission, Ideals and Beliefs in Its Centenary Struggle

百年来,中国共产党在践行初心、担当使命的同时,始终坚持共产主义理想和社会主义信念。建党先驱们在对"中华民族之复活"的追求中选择了马克思主义,确立了科学的理想信念。建党初期的革命纲领,包括"消灭社会的阶级区分"和"统一中国为真正的民主共和国",就体现了初心使命和理想信念的统一。在革命、建设和改革的接续奋斗中,党始终是最低纲领和最高纲领、初心使命和理想信念的统一论者。在新时代新征程上,推动"社会主义从初级阶段向更高阶段迈进",同样体现了初心使命和理想信念的统一。

Over the past century, the CPC has always adhered to its communist ideals and socialist beliefs while practising its original aspiration and undertaking its mission. In their pursuit of the“resurrection of the Chinese nation”, the founding fathers chose Marxism and established scientific ideals and beliefs. The revolutionary programme of the early years of the CPC, which included the“elimination of social class distinction”and the“unification of China into a genuine democratic republic”, demonstrated the unity of the original aspiration, mission, ideals and beliefs. In the successive struggles of revolution, construction and reform, the CPC has always been a unifier of the lowest and highest programmes, the original aspiration, mission, ideals and beliefs. In the new journey of the new era, promoting“the advancement of socialism from the primary stage to a higher stage”also reflects the unity of the original aspiration, mission, ideals and beliefs.
