Mineral resources are not only the material basis of social development and progress,but also an important part of the national economic structure.There are some problems in the process of mineral resources development,such as unreasonable development mode and ignoring environmental protection.Therefore,we must pay more attention to the environmental protection around the mining area and the sustainable development of mining enterprises.This paper mainly analyzes the impact of mineral resources development on the environment and prevention measures.
