This paper summarizes the difficulties and key points in the national survey of mineral resources of Hunan and Heilongjiang province,and introduces the working methods and experience of mineral resources investigation in Shaoguan of Guangdong Province,which could provide reference for the investigation of mineral resources.It is an important work to comprehensively investigate the quantity,quality,structure and spatial distribution of mineral reoureces in Shaoguan,and it’s significant to establish a unified and standardized regular survey an evaluation system of mineral resources.
