The paper combines a case of fire accident to conduct a qualitative analysis of the status quo of fire extended investigation. Then the paper discusses specific accountability situations, how to implement accountability and follow-up rectification issues. The research has certain practical significance for further implementing the fire extended investigation,optimizing the various procedures in the investigation, effectively promoting the "three investigations in one case", and transforming the investigation results into improving the social fire prevention and control capabilities.
