摘要
本文赞同《哲学对管理研究的作用》一文所提出的哲学在方法论方面对管理研究的贡献,同时也从中西方哲学本体论差异对研究者理论化视角的影响,以及与本体论相适应的认识论和方法论选择两方面进行了一些拓展性探讨。我们认为,西方的“存在”本体论和中国的“生成”本体论的差异会启发研究者从不同的世界观认识现实社会规律,中国本土文化思维可以给研究者提供更有新颖性的组织与战略理论视角。对应以上不同的本体论,研究者需要在研究方法上区别变异方法和过程方法,进而提出更适宜的研究设计方案。最后,本文对本土管理学者如何更好地运用哲学观点进行管理研究提出了三点建议。
This article agrees with the view-point about methodological contribution of philosophy proposed in“Why Philosophy Can Help Management Research”to management research.On this basis,we have carried out some expansive discussions from two aspects:The influence of the ontological differences between Chinese and Western philosophies on the theorizing perspectives of researchers,and the choice of epistemology and methodology that follows the ontology.We believe that the difference between the Western“being”ontology and China’s“becoming”ontology will inspire researchers to understand the laws of real society from different worldviews.At the same time,Chinese indigenous cultural thinking can also provide researchers with a more novel perspective on the construction of organizational and strategic theories.Corresponding to the above different ontologies,researchers need to distinguish between variance-based view and process-based view in research methods,and then propose a more appropriate research design plan.Finally,this article puts forward three suggestions on how local management scholars can better use philosophical views to conduct management research.
