摘要
保偏光纤因能保持传输中光的偏振状态而广泛应用于光纤陀螺等惯性导航器件。为了给保偏光纤的应用提供参考,准确评估表征保偏光纤机械可靠性、老化、寿命等性能的应力腐蚀敏感参数n非常重要,因此展开了基于轴向张力法的保偏光纤动态n测量技术研究。通过理论分析和实际试验验证,研究结果表明采用轴向张力法测保偏光纤动态n的最佳试验方案是按照标准IEC 60793-1-33:2017规定设定4个量级应变速率,由此可确保动态n测试结果精度满足要求,且能够真实、准确地评估保偏光纤耐疲劳性能。
Polarization maintaining fiber(PMF)is widely used in inertial navigation devices such as fiber optic gyroscope(FOG)because it can maintain the polarization state of light in transmission.In order to provide reference for the PMF application,it is very important to accurately evaluate the stress corrosion susceptibility parameter n,which characterizes the mechanical reliability,aging and life of PMF.Therefore,the dynamic n value measurement technology of PMF based on axial tension method is studied.Through theoretical analysis and practical test verification,the research results show that the best test scheme for measuring the dynamic n value of PMF by axial tension method is to set four magnitude strain rates according to the provisions of IEC 60793-1-33:2017,which can ensure that the accuracy of dynamic nvalue test results meets the requirements,and can truly and accurately evaluate the fatigue resistance of PMF.
