Investigation on origin and development of red uncreated eyelid

本文通过对古代相关文献的查阅整理,梳理病名沿革、总结历代医家对睑弦赤烂病因病机的认识,同时对治法进行概述、剖析,以期考查其学术脉络,丰富相关理论,为后世了解研究睑弦赤烂提供一定的理论基础。睑弦赤烂首次被《黄帝内经》以“眦疡”记载。对眼眦痈疡溃烂有了初步的认识。《诸病源候论》首先提出睑弦赤烂的病因与风有关,指出风热致病。历代医家皆以风入手辨证诊治睑弦赤烂之证,足可见风是此病中的重要的诱因。此病病因除风热外,还有脾胃壅热,兼受风湿、肝风内热、心经火邪、母胎受热等原因。在治疗上根据以上病因总结出祛风解毒、清热除湿、清肝泻热、清胃养脾、清心凉血活血等内治法,以及洗法、点药法、针灸法等外治法。历代医家对睑弦赤烂研究详尽,为后世临床提供了很多宝贵经验。

This paper combs the evolution of the name of the disease,summarizes the understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of red untreated eyelid by doctors in previous dynasties by consulting and sorting out the relevant ancient literature,and summarizes and analyzes the treatment methods,in order to investigate its academic context,enrich relevant theories,and provide a certain theoretical basis for future generations to understand and study red untreated eyelid.Red uncreated eyelid was recorded as"Ziyang"in the Yellow Emperor’s Classics of Internal Medicine for the first time,thus having a preliminary understanding of carbuncle and ulceration of canthus.General Treatise on the Cause and Symptoms of Diseases first puts forward that the etiology of eyelid string red rot is related to wind and points out that wind-heat causes disease.The idea that the etiology of red untreated eyelid was related to wind was first put forward in General Treatise on the Causes and Symptoms of Diseases,and the disease was thought to be caused by wind-heat.Doctors of all dynasties have started with treating wind to diagnose and treat the syndrome of red untreated eyelid,demonstrating that wind is an essential inducement in this disease.In addition to wind-heat,the etiology of the disease also includes stagnation of heat in spleen and stomach accompanied with wind-damp,internal heat of liver wind,evil fire of heart meridian,and maternal and fetal heat.In terms of treatment,internal treatment methods were summarized according to the above causes,including dispelling wind and detoxification,clearing heat and dampness,clearing liver and purging heat,clearing stomach and nourishing spleen,clearing heart,cooling blood,and promoting blood circulation.Also,external treatment methods were summarized including washing method,eye drops and acupuncture.Doctors of all dynasties have studied red untreated eyelid in detail,which has provided a lot of valuable experience for future clinical practice.
