Mr.Hua Luogeng was a famous Chinese mathematician.In addition to his outstanding contributions to pure mathematics,he was also a rare leader in China and globally in the application of mathematics.In addition to his mathematical contributions,he left behind a valuable spiritual wealth.This study first analyzes the considerable“intersection”connotation between his spiritual legacy and engineering philosophy and the necessity of the influence of mathematics on engineering.According to Hua’s idea,the author further expounds on the“difficulty of creation”and the“double innovation”of his“selection method and unified planning method”in terms of the productive force and instrumentation as well.Lastly,the author shows that as a leading master in engineering,Hua’s thoughts and dedication spirit have had far-reaching influences.
