《yi-ge’i-bshad-pa-mkhas-pa’i-kha-rgyan》is a work on Tibetan philology,authored by A-lag-sha-ngag-dbang-bstan-dar during 18th century,who was a Mongolian and a famous Tibetan grammarian,reputed as Master of Mongolian and Tibetan grammar,linguist,translator,religious philosopher and writer,etc.In his lifetime,he wrote many books with fruitful achievements,in particular,he made great contributions to the study of Tibetan grammar,and many views have become the main theoretical basis for Tibetan grammar study.As one of the representative early works on Tibetan character theory,the book《yi-ge’i-bshad-pa-mkhas-pa’i-kha-rgyan》mainly discusses about the meaning,formation of Tibetan characters and grammar and gives a brief explanation to the Tibetan basic terms.This paper makes an in-depth analysis on the character theory reflected in the book,and puts forward some own views.
