Global Health Law:A Definition and Major Challenges

由于飞速的全球化,人们对一套连贯的全球卫生法及其治理体系的需要从未像现在这样强烈。本文探讨了当代全球化对人体健康造成的健康危害;为了推动民众健康的公平发展,本文还探讨了全球卫生法促进有效多边合作的迫切需要。本文首先提出了“全球卫生法”作为新兴领域的首个定义。在阐述由该定义所界定的核心特征后,本文考察了全球卫生法以公正有效的各种方式充分发挥其潜能的“重大挑战”。

Due to the rapid expansion of globalization,people’s requirements for a coherent global health law and its governance system has never been so strong.This paper discusses the health hazards of contemporary globalization to human health.In order to promote the fair development of people’s health,this paper also discusses the urgent need of global health law to promote effective multilateral cooperation.Firstly,this paper puts forward the first definition of“global health law”as a new field.After explicating the core features defined by this definition,this paper examines the“major challenges”of the global health law in exerting its potential in a fair and effective manner.
