Exploration and Discovery: the Review of the Cultural Relics and Archaeological Work in Chifeng

赤峰市拥有丰富的历史文化资源,自十九世纪开始这一地区便开展了多次考古调查、考古发掘工作。作为赤峰市考古工作的参与者和见证者,借考古百年之机,从赤峰地区考古工作的起步和发展完善两个阶段着手,对文物机构的建立,考古学文化的命名,辽文化考古成果,新科技、新理念的应用等方面对赤峰市的文物考古工作历程进行回顾和梳理。

Chifeng is rich in historical and cultural resources. Since the 19th century, many archaeological surveys and excavations have been carried out in this area. As a participant and witness of the archaeological work of Chifeng, taking the opportunity of a century of archaeology and starting from the two stages of the development and perfection of the Chifeng area, I review and sort out the history of the cultural relics and archaeological work in Chifeng city from the establishment of cultural relic institutions, the naming of archaeological culture, the archaeological achievements of Liao culture, the application of new technologies and concepts and so on.
